I am a self-proclaimed caramel connoisseur. I look for "homemade" caramel at every candy shop when I travel. About 10 years ago I discovered Queen of Petrolia Caramel at Sweetness and Light while traveling. It was so amazing no other caramel even interests me anymore. I get great customer service and SUPERB caramel when I order. All of their candy containing caramel is awesome and so worth the price. I am so hung up on the caramel it is all I ever order.
I drove all the way from Southern California to get some of your delicious Queen of Petrolia carmels because I remembered how incredibly delicious they were from a previous visit to Ferndale. These soft, perfectly sweet carmels literally melt in your mouth. I'm thrilled that you have a mail order service because it is almost as good as walking into your delightful shop...and doesn't take nearly as much time as the road trip from So Cal! These carmels will be my Christmas gift to myself from here on out!
